A group of 3 volunteers delivered 50 Thanksgiving food bags + lots of "extra" food to Pearl Mart in Pearlington, MS. The food was a joint project with PUTP and AASU combining efforts. We also picked up our 1st Salvation Army Grant on behalf of the Dennis and Ivy Watson family which enabled us to pick up and deliver all materials necessary to complete their home. We also gave a lift to former NOLA resident Janet Mercadel (currently lives in Savannah) back to NOLA so that she could spend time with her family for the holidays.
